Worship

We feel very blessed as we have found a wonderful church that has made us feel so welcome. It is called Laramie Valley Chapel. They currently meet in the high school but will move into their new church building shown below in September. On Monday nights we attend a young couple's Bible Study. There are around 10 other couples who come and most bring their children along. The church is full of lots of little kids so that is good to see. Jake went to the church last Sunday afternoon and helped as they had a work day.

Cora 2 months

Cora turned two months old last week. Tomorrow she has to go to the doctor and get her shots. Her grandparents, Keith and Nancy, were here last week for a few days. We drove to Centennial, a small frontier town, then headed up the mountains. Got a lot of rain and even caused flooding in some parts of town. Wish we could send some of it to those in Nebraska who are so dry.

Looks like she has a twin!

Bouncy seat is a favorite place to relax lately.

Cora 8 wks.

Cora weighs over 10 lbs. now. She is starting to smile more and loves to kick. Still needs to work on sleeping better at night. She has been a good girl going around Laramie with me. We like all the parks where we can go walking with the stoller or carrier.

Tour of our apartment

Here are some pictures of our apartment. Cora has the biggest bedroom (spoiled already!). We are so thankful for the 3rd bedroom where we have our computer/desk and a spare bed for visitors :) Glad we didn't bring everything we own as all 3 walk-in closets are full.Jake wonders why I think I need to go to garage sales! Laramie has great ones by the way.

Our new home

Here we are in front of our apartment. We are enjoying looking out our dining room window and seeing the mountains. It can get pretty warm during the day without airconditioning but with the windows open at night it cools off.
