The last days of summer...

Looks like Cora beat Jake to his chair and remote! HA! Had the door open Saturday to let air in as it was such a beautiful day. Went for a walk in the afternoon and ran across a garage sale that was ending. Got the new style of a Johny Jumper thing and a Leap Frog activity center. What a find! Then we went to some friends from church house for supper. They have twin girls who are 9 months old so it was fun to see the difference between their age and Cora's. Yesterday Jake and I played basketball at the rec center while Cora slept in her stroller.

Tried to get her to smile and get a good pose but she wasn't in the mood!

Bumbo

Cora is sleeping so much better lately, but quess what?... I'm not! So I'm up late tonight and thought I'd make a quick entry in my blog showing you what Cora and I got today when we went to Cheyenne. It's called a Bumbo and it's supposed to be really good for babies posture, helping them develop strong neck and back muscles. So far I think she likes it. I just can't believe my little baby is getting so big!

Smiles!

Cora is full of smiles and sounds lately. Jake is especially good at getting her to squeal in delight. I had the flu a few days this week but so far Jake and Cora are staying healthy.

Jake in Uniform

Here's Jake at the end of the day. He can get pretty dirty some days if they worked in the shop. He's happier if they don't have to sit in the classroom all day. Today is his last day of Powertrains (his first session) so he is probably taking the final test right now. He really enjoys playing intramural basketball that Wyotech has.

Now he's changed into his daddy uniform. Looks like Cora wasn't too entertained by daddy's truck shows. She sure keeps her eyes wide open when she watches Baby Einstein.
